i just got my watch yesterday and the force touch to change the face is not working? we restarted and ripped the watch yesterday its still not working. when i press the face all it does is open the calendar. other people have tried as well.

Try pressing more firmly, quickly increasing the pressure in the same place (do not stab or poke hard). As you quickly add more pressure, the watch face displayed on the screen should initially begin to "shrink". When you have pressed firmly enough, a Customise button will appear beneath a smaller version (preview) of the current watch face.
If the issue persists, contact Apple Support (mail-in service may be available) or make a Genius Bar reservation with a view to having your watch checked under warranty:
